I need to train my belly for all the food

Just had dinner at the lush 'la porchetta' in Islington.

But am bloaty as a bloaty fish can be. I think i may need to get used to this hearty italian fayre.

I asked for a small portion of pasta and it could have filled a football field.

bloaty, bloaty, bloaty.

But it's a deffo recommend. The service is amazing, they are just smiley, smiley people.

With a free shot of limoncello....whose complaining?

Just like when you discover the next big thing at a local gig and think to yourself  'they'll be big they will' but never tell anyone. A few months later they reach No 1 and you kick yourself in the gonads for not having told a soul that you found them first.

How about when you get a whiff of a feeling from reading a few lines about a certain place? And the more you read about it the more you suspect you are going to fall in love with this place.

Well I'm there, i found it and i'm telling you now.

I have a deep, deep suspicion that I am going to fall in love with Cinque Terre.

The area known as 'Cinque Terre' comprises of 5 medieval fishing villages - Riomaggiore, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia and Manarola.
Accessible only by a 19th century railway or foot, these villages are not far from each other and are begging to be explored by moi.
Combining my love of two things.....train travel and no car areas!
